Itinerary
Day 01: Arriving at Delhi
On arrival at Delhi our representative shall meet and assist you to the hotel for check in. You will be briefed by our representative at the hotel and hand over your all the travel documents and give you all the Information about the trip. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi sightseeing tour
After lavish breakfast we head towards discovering the treasures of Delhi. As we begin the day with a guided city tour, firstly take a trip to Old Delhi, this part of the city is crowded and very old in its construction but that has its own charm, we visit the superb Red Fort it is a massive structure built by great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Next we take you to the Muslim shrine known as “Jama Masjid” which also happens to be one of the largest mosques in India. Lastly Chandni Chowk the oldest shopping market of Delhi which will be explored by an entertaining rickshaw ride. One is bound to get fascinated by the great majesty of Delhi town. After lavish lunch drive past the imposing buildings of the New Delhi such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s house) and India Gate. Later we visit the tallest stone tower in the country Qutub Minar. Evening is free to get around the local market for shopping and other leisurely activities. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Sariska (195 kms / 4 hrs)
Purple Sunbird Ssariska National ParkAfter a healthy breakfast we straight leave for Sariska which one of the most visited parks in India. This reserve is house to huge number of species and various varieties of birds. Sariska National Park was once the hunting ground for the royal family members and it became a sanctuary in 1958. The Sanctuary came under Project Tiger in 1979 and the core area of 499 sq. kms, became a National Park in 1982. Afternoon enjoy jeep safari at Sariska & overnight stay is at Sariska.
Day 04: Sariska – Jaipur (148 kms / 3 hrs)
Morning after breakfast we drive towards Jaipur upon arrival check in at the hotel. After wash & change and afternoon lunch we proceed for a half day city tour of Jaipur. Visit the most attractive monument of Jaipur – The City Palace built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh it is a masterpiece of art and architecture. Located just close by the palace is the astronomical observatory – Jantar Mantar, it is the largest stone observatory in the world. And we end the city tour with a visit to the landmark of the city – Hawa Mahal famous as the Palace of Winds it is a great example of the Rajputana architecture. Evening is free to wander around the local market in the city. Overnight stay is at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur sightseeing tour
Purple Sunbird Ssariska National ParkMorning we begin early to visit the magnificent Amber Fort situated on a hilltop, this old fortress is a major tourist attraction in Rajasthan. To reach top of the fort an exciting elephant back ride will be taken or one even has an option to walk up to the splendid fort. The fort has some superb courtyards and palaces that move one into an era of the Rajasthan rule. Later enjoy shopping at clock tower bazaar famed for hand block printed fabrics, enameled blue ceramic, tie and dye works. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur – Ranthambhore National Park (161 kms / 3 ½ hrs)
After a refreshing breakfast we drive towards Ranthambhore and on arrival check into hotel. Afternoon enjoy the jungle safari by jeep/canter to stain the tigers in this exotic wildlife sanctuary. Ranthambore is one of the prime wildlife parks in the country. A great variety of flora and fauna including 300 types of trees, 50 aquatic plants, over 300 species of birds, 12 reptiles and 30 mammals are recorded here. For wildlife lovers Ranthambore is a great place to be in. Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Ranthambhore National Park – Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (250 kms / 5 hrs)
Purple Sunbird Ssariska National ParkAfter hearty breakfast take a morning jungle ride by jeep/canter to spot the main attraction here the tigers, later by afternoon we drive to Bharatpur, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. This sanctuary is known as “Keoladeo Ghana National Park”. The park has a rich collection of over 350 species of birds which have been recorded. The wide variety of birds available here attracts a large number of bird lovers towards it. You can have a view of the migratory birds like the Siberian cranes around the lake. Evening enjoy the rickshaw ride with naturalist in the park. Overnight stay is in Bharatpur.
Day 08: Bharatpur – Agra ex Fatehpur Sikri (55 kms / 1 ½ hrs)
This morning leave for Agra by surface enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. This small ruined city built of red sandstone by Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture and the number of attractions inside it such as Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khaas, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid and many more delightful structures. Later we continue drive to Agra upon arrival check in at the hotel. Agra is known worldwide for the beautiful white marvel imposed here – Taj Mahal. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay is in Agra.
Day 09: Agra – Delhi (204 kms / 4 hrs)
Post breakfast we visit the greatest monument of love ever built – Taj Mahal. Today amongst the Seven Wonders of the World, this intriguing and capturing monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and is visited by millions every year. Next we visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah. Later we drive back to Delhi, on arrival check in at the hotel. Evening is free to relax and enjoy the various sprawling markets here. Overnight stay is in Delhi
Day 10: Delhi Departure
Morning on time transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight for your next destination or back home.
