Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet assist at the airport & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Agra ( By train dep. 0615 arr 0815 ) Agra – Jaipur (By Raod Approx 5 Hrs)
Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train, Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours & visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife Also visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms & enjoy a lavish buffet lunch in a 5* hotel in Agra. After lunch drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to Hotel .Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 03: Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast , visit the majestic Amber Fort, is one that cannot be easily described. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills.Later visit the City Palace, Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh’s observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur – Pushkar
After breakfast drive to Pushkar and transfer to hotel. In Pushkar visit Brahma temple (said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity) Pushkar lake, Man Mahal and Savitri temple. Also visit the famous Dargah Shariff, Shah Jahan’s mosque, Taragarh fort at Ajmer. Night stay in Pushkar.
Day 05: Pushkar – Udaipur ( By Road )
Morning drive to Udaipur-an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan. Arrive Udaipur and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 06: Udaipur
Morning city sight seeing tour. Udaipur is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir ( Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 07: Udaipur – Jodhpur ( By Road )
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur & transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur
Morning city sight seeing tour . Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 09: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer ( By Road ) jaisalmer Tours india
Morning drive through Kheechan village (famous for its migratory cranes) and finally reach Jaisalmer & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 10: Jaisalmer
Morning proceed for camel safari. Lunch & dinner enroute on camel safari. Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
Continue Camel Safari & have Breakfast & lunch enroute camel safari. Later return back to the hotel after completion of camel safari in the afternoon. Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 12: Jaisalmer – Bikaner ( By Road )
Morning drive to Bikaner (330 kms) & transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 13: Bikaner
After breakfast visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar’s army and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok. Also visit the prestigious camel breeding farm in the evening. Night stay in Bikaner.
Day 14: Bikaner – Gajner ( By Road )
Morning drive to Gajner and transfer to hotel. Full day sightseeing of Gajner wildlife sanctuary and fort. Night stay in Gajner.
Day 15: Gajner – Mandawa ( By Road )
After breakfast drive to Mandawa and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon walking tour of the painted ‘havelis’ of some of the leading business families of the country. Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshmi narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhag chandika Haveli are of special interest. Spend the enture day looking into frescoes. Night stay in Mandawa.
Day 16: Mandawa – Delhi
After breakfast drive to Delhi, arrive & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 17: Delhi – Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to Deluxe houseboat Afternoon free for personal activities Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 18: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar.
In the Morning proceed for the sighseeing tour of Pahalgam ,one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feelings of Paradise. Enjoy the pony ride to Shikargah & Baisaran. Return to houseboat in the evening .Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 19: Srinagar
Morning proceed for the sightseeing of Old City, Afternoon free for personal activities with evening shikara rides. Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 20: Srinagar – Tangmarg – Gulmarg – Srinagar.
Morning proceed to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer: winter resorts in the valley. One can have a gandola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have real view of the natural beauty in summer and full snow view in winter. Have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen till June, in the evening, Return to Srinagar enroute Tangmarg for its fast flowing stream, Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 21: Srinagar Sightseeing
Morning proceed for the sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar garden (Abode of love). Afternoon lake rides by shikara to visit floating gardens, lotus gardens, Charchinar, kabooter khana (pigeon palace) and inside of the lake . Have dinner on Houseboat . Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 22: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar
Morning proceed to Sonmarg (meadow of gold), It has sheer scenic splendor. The very way—a metalled road – snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath – taking journey from Srinagar , come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier – a major attraction during the summer months. Sonmarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh ,See snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Night stay in Srinagar.
Day 23: Srinagar – Delhi
Morning free at Leisure. Later check out from the Hotel & transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 24: Departure
Transfer to airport in time to board the flight for back home.
